Rely on a light, compact tent based on specifications provided by uber-famous mountaineer Ed Viesturs with Mountain Hardwear's EV 3 tent that's sure to keep up to 3 people dry and protected from high-altitude elements. While a waterproof Conduit FR fly, PU-coated floor, watertight zippers, and watertight zippered snow port fend off rain and snow, you get plenty of space for gear storage in the integrated vestibule and welded mesh storage pockets.

EV 3 tent

Got back from a two week fly in fishing trip to the wilderness in northern Quebec.I have an older Mountain Hardware Skyview which has made 15 trips. I looked at thisEV3 and I can tell it is a very high quality product. It seems too many of the newer tentshave screens that cannot be closed up. Where we go it often gets down into the 20's at night and its niceto be able to zip up all of the vents. When it warms the next morning you can zip open vents and sleep in without beingin a sauna.I cannot review it from use yet but it will definitely be my next wilderness tent.

First used this tent on Everest. It takes only a few minutes to put up and vents well. Reinforced so that heavy winds can't touch it, windows to see out of it as well. I don't think you can beat it for comfort on the mountain.
