Great tent!

Spent a week in Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Surprisingly light for 3 man tent. Performed beautifully in a day's worth of thunderstorms. Raised guy points kept the tent very stable in high winds. Rain fly windows turned out to be a valued feature, both for light and keeping an eye on the weather. Corner pockets are smallish, but the loft makes up for this. Chose the PRO model after reading positive comments regarding the tougher floor fabric. This is one rugged tent that takes on the elements.

This is my third Kelty tent purchase, I also have the regular Gunnison 3.1 and the massive Parthenon 8. Lightweight, high quality materials and weatherproof. The pro comes with nobendium stakes which are more than sufficient for most terrain. The regular gunnison 3.1 and the Parthenon 8 come with rather cheap stakes. I replaced the cheap stakes with MSR groundhogs but left the nobendium stakes in the Pro tent because of their smaller size and weight which is beneficial for backpacking trips. Everything you need is in the bag, stakes, reflective guy lines. Everything incuding optional footprint fits easily into storage bag, and I store that bag in a Stoic compression drysack to keep it dry during hikes. Roomy enough to fit 3 sleepmats plus some storage space at foot of mats, and also outside the 2 vestibules. Do I recommend it? Considering I currently own 3 Kelty tents I'd say yes.
